Elf on the Shelf Snow Angel In Flour - Easy Last Minute Idea

This elf on the shelf snow angel is a super easy and cute idea. All you need is flour and a flat surface.

This only took me about 5 minutes to set up and the kids loved it!

Here’s how to make a snow angel with elf on the shelf.

First I made sure the table was clear and then sprinkled about two handfuls of flour on the table. If you’re worried that having the elf right in the middle of the kitchen table will be in the way all day, you can always put the elf snow angel on a side table, on the floor somewhere in a corner, or on the kitchen counter in a place that you don’t need to use for the rest of the day.

You can use a sifter to sift the snow nicely but I just used my hand to sprinkle the flour here and I think it looks pretty good.

Then I used the side of my hand to make the snow angel. I just did a swiping motion like how you would move your arms when making a snow angel in the snow. I used the elf as a guide to see how big to make the angel wings and legs. I also wiped away some flour for where the elf’s body goes.

The nice thing about this idea is that it doesn’t matter if you make a mistake. You can always sprinkle a little more flour if you need, and worst case scenario you can wipe it all up and try again. I did need to add a bit more flour.

I also decided to sprinkle in some silver glitter although it’s hard to see it in these photos!! But if you do have a little bit of glitter you can sprinkle into the flour “snow” I think it adds a bit more of a magical effect!
